Located only about 50km from Malang, Kawi mountain is popular for its ritual-tourism. There are several sacred-graves where some people believe they can find " luck " by doing certain ritually ceremonies. These " luck-seeker " are not only local but also overseas visitors . Hong Kong, Taiwan, China are some of those countries. Superstition ? It is really an individually decision to do and the responsibility as well.
However, to visit this area will take you into another experience to know the culture and tradition of local people, the food , the habit etc. If you come in peak-season, so called SUROAN, make sure with all your belongings since thousands of people will be on the same area.
